Day 11- Low Cost Light Tent

This is my favorite lens. It's a Canon 70-200mm f/4 L USM. It's super smooth and slick as oily ice!! I shoot everything from portraits to sporting events with it. It's light, focuses as fast as lightning and is sharp as a tack.

It was shot inside of an inexpensive light tent that requires no DIY skills, other than opening a package. A set-up shot of the light tent and another product photo of an item I'll be selling soon, after the jump.

This was my first real macro lens. It takes wonderful photographs, is sharp and has a nice bokeh(blurring effect on the background). I recently upgraded to a Sigma 150mm f/2.8 and am selling this one. This photograph was also taken inside of the aforementioned light tent. Below is the set-up shot.

The light tent is a $9.99 clothes hamper from Ikea. It's item #501.165.88.. It folds down flat for easy storage and pops back up in about 15 seconds.

Lighting info: Canon 7D, 200ISO, f/10, 1/160. Nikon SB24 on 1/4 power, zoomed to 24mm, over top of light tent.

You've gotta try this thing! It really works well. I've tried the cardboard box with tissue paper covering big square holes, but it's a real pain to store. The link to that design can be found here.
